iam evaluating SearchDomain for a customer. It is working very well, but i can not get the Exchange 2010 Connection to work properly.
I find 2 Posts in the Forum about Exchange 2010 an one with the same Problem, but no working solution is shown.

So maybe one can help.

I use an Exchange Admin Account, which is used for Archiving Mailboxes to, so this Account can open all Mailboxes. (This Archiving Solution uses OWA for accessing all Mailboxes)

The Exchange 2010 Sp3 use Formular Based Authentication with https (URL looks like: https://servername.Domain.com/owa) It is configured, that the User only needs his LoginName and no AD-Domain (Domain\ or @domain.local, but of course this works too)
I always get the Error “Can’t decide login type”.
At these Level the Console-Window of the Collection shows nothing.

I tried the URL: https://servername.Domain.com/Microsoft-Server-Activesync and there the Logon Success, but of course nothing is crawled

The InternalAuthenticationMethod is: Basic,Fba,Ntlm, Windowsintegrated
The ExternalAuthenticationMethod is: FBA
I tried changing the ExternalAuthMethod to Basic+FBA but that didnt help. So i set it back to Fba only.
I tried changing from FormularBased Authentication to Basic authentication, but that didnt work too.

So any help would be nice
