i am indexing my corporation repository with searchdaimon es 2.8.
Soon i will post some screenshot of the collection overview. In the moment i am writing it has indexed over 6 millions of file. We have a very big archive file. I was worring about file size because i have some pdf files larger than 1 gb each and each of them has over 500,000 pages (yes, five hundred thousands page!).

Is searchdaimon able to index such big files? Are there in Searchdaimon some hardcoded filesize limit?

You are right, the smb crawler do not download files larger than 100 Mb ( 104857600 bytes ). Hardcoding this like that is unfortunate and not a good way of handling it. I have created an issue in it at https://github.com/searchdaimon/enterprise-search/issues/31 and we will look into changing this.

Btw, a pdf of 500 000 pages sounds extreme. What do you have in this pdf files?

But if you make a search you do not find word after 10925
If you copy paste the cache of the file (from 1 to 10925) in notepad then the size is arround 65000.
Is this a limit too?

@vincentk222: we have not made any artificial limits, but when indexing some files, like Excel we rely on 3 party tools for converting the proprietary file format to text. It may by that Excel file converter have some internal limits.

I used excel to create 1 million rows from 1 to 1million
then copy paste it into a text file using notpad++
I put this texte file into folder to be index
then if you make a search, search will not work only with number under 10925
