Sorry there is currently no way of displaying all attributes without specifying them in navmenu.cfg . I believe it is because the navmeny is so hierarchical in its nature. For example if you have a document describing a person (me) you could have thus attributes::

Location=Norway
Industry=Software Development
Title=CTO

You would then make a person group like this:

That would result in a hierarchical menu where one could filter in specifically locations, industries or titles.
