Hi,
I’ve set up Searchdaimon from the scratch (both Produvtion Version 2.7 and Version 3) as virual machin n VMware - the result is always the same.
The setup process is working and the machine is runnng fine so far.
I’ve configured ActiveDirectory as usersystem and have 2313 users.
After that I crawled a small SMB-Share with no problems.
The access level is set to System permissions.
If I log in with an User, who definitely has access to that share, I can do a search, but I don’t get an result.
It seems that searchdaimon mean that I have no access to that share - the collection is not appearing on the result page
If I change the accesss level to “User”, the collection is appearing but with “no hits”.
I searched for the name of a file I can see under “documents” of that collection - so it should be able to find that document.
I also tried with other searches and always get the same result.
So I assume there is something going wrong, but I don’t know where to look - I checked the log and don’t found an error.
I had a look at the end user-page. Sometimes this page get not populated with all user, if I select an user there are always 5 groups, where Searchdaimon says, he is member in. There sholud be much more groups ...
So is it possible, that there is a problem with selecting the complete AD-information?
Regards
Christian
